God Still Has a Purpose
Life does not always unfold the way we expect.
There are seasons filled with joy, answered prayers, and mountaintop experiences. Then there are seasons marked by loss, uncertainty, and questions we never thought we would have to ask.
I have experienced both.
In 2023, our family suffered the heartbreaking loss of our oldest son, Michael. The grief that followed changed my life forever. Then, after living with Multiple Sclerosis since 2008, I experienced a severe relapse in November 2025 that left me unable to drive and forced me to rethink many aspects of daily life.
There were moments when I wondered what the future would look like. There were days when I felt overwhelmed by grief, limitations, and uncertainty. Yet through every difficult season, one truth remained constant: God was still faithful.
It was during these challenges that I found myself drawing closer to God than ever before. His Word became my comfort. Prayer became my refuge. Bible studies, devotionals, journals, and faith-filled resources helped strengthen my relationship with Him when I needed it most.
Out of that journey, Faithful Scoops was born.
What began as a desire to stay productive and creative became an opportunity to encourage others in their own walk with Christ. Every scoop, every study tool, every devotional item, and every package is prepared with the hope that it will inspire someone to spend more time in God’s Word and discover His faithfulness for themselves.
One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that our circumstances do not determine God’s purpose. Even when life takes unexpected turns, God continues to work. He can bring hope from heartbreak, strength from weakness, and purpose from pain.
Scripture reminds us:
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28 (KJV)
I don’t pretend to understand every hardship we face in this life. But I do know this: God is not finished with us. He still has a purpose. He still has a plan. And He is still writing our story.
Thank you for visiting Faithful Scoops. My prayer is that the resources you find here will encourage you, strengthen your faith, and remind you that no matter what season you are in, God is faithful.
Because your story isn’t over, and God still has a purpose.
